We are looking for a Tax Supervisor to lead our tax department in ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Responsibilities include preparing tax returns, conducting tax research, and providing guidance to the finance team. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical and analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts. CPA or relevant certification preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Give tax advice to a range of national and multinational clients working across the Middle East
• Demonstrate an understanding of complex tax concepts to present clients with solutions to their issues
• Support in building 'deep, value-add' relationships with clients and exceed your service requirements
• Be aware of market developments to initiate new products and services for clients
• Assist in business development opportunities in addition to building existing client relationships
• Help build and develop the international tax team both in Abu-Dhabi and across the Middle East in general

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; advanced degree or CPA certification preferred;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for reviewing complex tax returns and financial documents
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and mentor tax staff;
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications
